Exercises You Can Do Alone

Sep 12, 2017

Being on your own does not mean you should skip exercising because there’s no one to do it with. Exercise is quite a personal thing. So, regardless if you have someone to do it with or not, you should stay physically active to stay healthy. If you’re alone, you should do the following exercises.

Swimming

Whatever is your exercise of choice, you need energy to do it. Most people would turn to energy drinks before working out. The same idea applies to swimming since you can do it alone. As an added bonus, you get to play with water. It doesn’t matter how many laps you’re doing because nobody is going to hold you accountable. If anything, they’re there to distract you.

Skipping

Skipping is most definitely an individual exercise that you can do on your own. As a plus, it doesn’t require a lot of space and all you need is a skipping rope, or any length of rope for that matter. Skipping is an excellent individual cardio exercise to burn those pesky calories.

Push Ups and Sit Ups

If you want to emerge from this self-isolation looking ripped, sit ups and push ups are your exercise options. Push ups work your biceps, shoulders, and chest while sit ups work your abs and lower back muscles. These are the best exercises because, like any bodyweight exercises, they don’t require any equipment. All you need is willpower and self-discipline. You should try KukuBima Ener-G! Ready to Drink for a boost of energy to exercise on your own.

Jogs and Walks

Walking and jogging are quite identical to skipping, in that both are cardio exercises. The main difference being both jogging and walking require you to go outside. This is a bonus because you can see the sights to get rid of the dullness of seeing the same four walls, day in day out. To drown out the sounds silence, you can plug in your earphones and blast that music.

As you can see, there are no reasons to not exercise during this trying times. Your wellbeing is your own responsibility. ROSA!
