Composition

Each measuring spoon (5 ml) contains:

  • Diphenhydramine Hcl 12,50 mg
  • Dextromethorphan Hbr 7,50 mg
  • Ammonium Chloride 62,50 mg
  • Sodium Citrate Dihydrate 25,00 mg
  • Alcohol 1,6%
Side effects
  • Sedation, CNS stimulants such as hallucinations, excitation, ataxia, incoordination, atetosis and seizures, mydriasis, hot flushes, fever, coma, cardiovascular collapse, nausea. Diarrhea and headaches, rarely.
  • Sleepy
  • Nausea, dizziness and constipation.
Dose
  • Children aged 6-12 years: 3 x daily 1 measuring spoon (5 ml)
  • Adults and children over 12 years: 3 x daily 2 measuring spoons (10 ml)
